"REALLY?!?!"

... shouted Garrett back in December
as he swung through the garage door
into the kitchen
where I waited patiently with my camera...

{priceless}

"YES!" I replied and we hugged and
kissed and laughed and
danced a little. "Yes, we are

HAVING A BABY!!"

And this is how I told Garrett-
I wrapped the garage door like
a giant present with a note that read,
"Merry Christmas DADDY"
so when he drove into the garage
he found it!

So the beans are spilled. We told most of our family over Christmas and have continued sharing the good news since then. I am 13 weeks so far, 3 months down woohoo!
Almost out of trimester #1. Whew.
Things are going well, we are both beyond excited
and are happily anticipating a new baby. Some bullet points:

-Due date is August 26
(Garrett's bday is Aug 29.. what a gift!)

-I graduate PA school August 6... graduation, boards, birth. All within 20 days.
Wham-bam-thank-you-maam. Pray for me.

-We find out gender at the end of March

-We already know it's just one little gummy bear in there, not twins

-Cravings are crazy. They have each lasted around 1-2 weeks. It began with
beef (arby's twice a day sometimes.. wow) and has
skipped hap-hazardly to wheaties pounded with sugar then
crepes with strawberry jam then egg drop soup and ham fried rice
then Subway's Italian BMT and now egos and chocolate milk.
All so nutritious I know. Yes I know none of those include
any variety of fruits or vegetables... but what can I do? Eat my craving, that's what.
-Nausea was worse from weeks 6-12, and I'm
feeling SO much better now.. thus the blogging post!

-I'm maybe sortof popping?
Looking at me is at the "hmm, pudgy or baby?" stage.

-Garrett is too adorable about everything. He is wide eyed
and bushy tailed every time we see a baby so
church is especially fun, and we love to
re-visit every conversational
topic that we've already discussed about anything baby!

So that's our latest! Oh and we celebrated
our 4 year anniversary in January.

It's been perfect so far and something tells me
it's just going to get better!

Oh and I CAN'T FORGET to mention that
the Packers won the Superbowl!!
