The Old & The New. The Good & The Bad.

The OLD:

AN ANNIVERSARY!!

Here we are celebrating at a cozy little Mexican restaurant.
We love a good batch of chips n salsa.
That 3 is for our 3 years of awesomeness.
Disregard the mint in my mouth haha!

I don't know how I snagged such a smart, thoughtful, talented, funny, HANDSOME man!!
We've been through ups and downs and I wouldn't want to share them with anyone else.
Happy 3 years honey, best of my life!!

The NEW:

Our fun little Bentley. Things are going great, he's like a
sweet little stuffed animal that just HAPPENS to be alive :)
We dearly miss Laces and still lovingly reminisce about her, but we know she's in a better place.

Like I said, he's just an easy little squirt.
(& can you tell how he just loves Garrett?)

And Garrett has a new job
that he absolutely LOVES!


This pick is just a quick snap on a Saturday when he took me to tour the office, usually this place is buzzing and my red alligator purse isn't hanging around. He works for Robert Half International, a specialized staffing agency. Garrett is what I call the 'hiring-middle-man'. He's a recruiter. If a company needs an employee he finds em, and if a person needs a job he finds it. Its a great career where he helps a lot of people and gets paid a salary (SWEET).

Plus he gets to be a suit-&-tie guy!

The GOOD:

My classmates nominated my friend and I to be in the Ms. ATSU pageant for the school. It was really fun and kinda silly/ghetto (Yes, it was held in a classroom)

We strutted our stuff in formal, sports wear (I did my marathon clothes, April did her ski stuff - nothing scandalas here), we all did a talent (mine was piano) and answered a question at the end.
The good part - I won 1st attendant!
The other good part - April won 2nd attendant!
(PAs swept!)

The BEST part - I won $75 cash!!!

The BAD:

I lost the money. I know I just posted about praying and finding things, which I still have an unshaken testimony about. But this is different, I am pretty sure I left it at the school and you can't fix stolen. It's gone forever.

Overall things are going well, we're staying busy and
are still so in-love.
