It seems like every weekend Garrett and I have been busy with 'baby preperations'. This weekend was no exception. We furnished the baby room. I know I showed you the paint job - but just so the appreciation level is maxed to where it should be, here is the shameful before:
So this weekend, the furniture was all picked up, hauled in, and put together. We totally underestimated the smallness of the room but...
We love love love it.
The rocker is ridiculous. You sink into it and somehow it literally takes all your cares away. It had not been in the house more than 24 hours before we had each caught the other 'accidentally taking a nap' in it.
The crib was purchased from a different store than the two dressers - but they are a great match, no?! When we walk past this room we peek in and start daydreaming.

I just LOVE the swoops and slates.
(Panoramic function on my camera - love it) So.. not finished but furnished. It is a miracle it all fit in this tiny room, actually that's just barely and exactly what it does.. 'fit' - without much room for anything else.
But somehow it is still perfect.
I HAVE TO MENTION HOW THIS IS ALL POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF SO MUCH LOVE, SUPPORT, AND GIFTING FROM OUR AMAZING FAMILY ON BOTH SIDES. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING SUCH AN INTEREST IN HELPING US PROVIDE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS FOR OUR SOON-TO-COME BABY GIRL.

So cute! I love it. Our baby room is quite tiny as well and I really like it that way. Cozy :) May I ask where you got your rocker? Some day we'll have enough room for a bigger chair and I'd like to have one that takes all of my cares away, or at least one that is really comfy.

So cute Shelly! You will LOVE having a comfy rocker.. I told Matt that with our next baby, I am splurging on a good one. It's worth it. So excited for you guys!
